A small team from the hills, running trips the way we would want ours run
Maanvit Yatra & Stays started in 2014 with one Tempo Traveller and a list of homestays we trusted. Ten seasons later we still work the same way — we drive the routes, we stay in the rooms, and we do not sell a property we have not seen.
Most of our travellers are couples on honeymoon, families with parents and small children, and groups of friends taking their first Spiti circuit. Those three groups need very different things from the same road, and the plan we send you reflects that: shorter driving days when there are grandparents in the car, oxygen support and acclimatisation nights when you are crossing 4,500 metres, and quiet properties when it is a honeymoon.
We are registered with the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department, our drivers are local and hold commercial hill permits, and every trip has one named coordinator you can reach at any hour of the night.
